List of Faults in Volleyball

A fault is any playing action that violates the rules of the game and is judged by the referee to make up one's mind the consequences. If there are 2 or more faults that occur successively past the same team, but the start mistake is counted. Playing the Brawl Faults

  • Four Hits: a team contacts the ball more 3 times in addition to blocking. Penalisation: Side-Out
  • Assisted Hitting: a player takes back up from a teammate or other object/structure to attain the brawl inside the playing area. Penalty: Side-Out
  • Catch: a brawl is defenseless and thrown rather than rebounded off a player'due south torso. Penalty: Side-Out
  • Dubiety Contact: a player contacts the ball with whatever part of their torso more than once in succession. Penalty: Side-Out
  • Brawl Out: the ball lands completely outside the playing court. Penalty: Side-Out

Faults at the Internet

  • A player contacts the ball in the opponent's playing space before or during their opponent's attack hitting. Penalty: Side-Out
  • A player interferes with the opponent's play by penetrating the space under the net. Penalty: Side-Out
  • A player'southward foot steps completely over the middle line into the opponent's court. Penalty: Side-Out
  • A thespian interferes with the match past touching the net or antennae. Penalty: Side-Out

Service Faults

  • A role player serves out of their team's line-up society. Penalization: Side-Out
  • A player steps on the terminate line when serving. Penalty: Side-Out

  • A player blocks the opponent's service. Penalisation: Side-Out

  • The Libero attempts to perform a solo or team block. Penalty: Side-Out
